Workshops

Painting is a lot of fun. Even more so if one shares the creative experience with like minded people. The dialog, all the questions and the discussions with the others lead to better and sometimes surprising results. You will learn more in a shorter time.

A course can be arranged for a minimum of two people.

It will start at 10:00am from a central spot on the island and will end about 5:30pm. 

We will visit several picturesque spots of the island and sketch in villages, in the countryside, most likely on spots you may not discover on your own.

We will be spending about 2 hours per subject before we move on. There will be breaks and the opportunity to get yourself a snack in a nice pub or a cafe. You may also bring your own picnic.

Depending on weather conditions the course may have to be held in my own studio in Carnduncan.

Objective of the course is to develop an eye for the subject, to learn about perspective and composition as well as to practice and develop your sketching skills.

You will also learn more about papers, brushes and paints.

The size of the group is limited to four people. Under 16's must be accompanied by an adult.
   
Although art materials are provided, participants are welcome to bring their own supplies.

One-day-course £80 pp,

two-day-course £150 pp.
